We may be aware, we have sinned.
But stand and acknowledge it,
‘God be merciful to me a sinner’ Luke 18:13,
and we are then at rights before God.
God is aware of our weakness, that we are unrighteousness.
So, what has Jesus done?
He has won our righteousness for us. This was done at great cost through the cross.
Isaiah describes this most beautiful gift in the following way,
‘… for He clothes me now with the garments of salvation, He covers me with the robe of righteousness.’ Isaiah 61:10
We can enter into the presence of the Lord! Thank you, Jesus!
