TAKEN UP
 

Sometimes, as we relax in His presence the Lord may simply take us up into the Secret Place. Moses describes this beautifully in Deuteronomy.

As an eagle stirs up its nest,

Hovers over its young,

Spreading out its wings, taking them up,

Carrying them on its wings,

So the Lord alone led him,

And there was no foreign god with him.

Deuteronomy 32:11-12

 

The secret place is for all. No one is excluded from the secret place because of infirmity.
 
 
The Lord is able to fully embrace the infirm, those with dementia, little children, those with severe learning difficulties like my daughter.

Even ourselves when overcome with the vicissitudes of life; grief, stress, tiredness are not excluded.

Whatever way, we all can move from the hustle and bustle of this world to the timeless Silent stillness of the secret place.
