Genesis 3:8 reveals its depth – ‘being with the Lord in the garden in the cool of the day’.
You enter Christian contemplation hand in hand with the Lord in an intimate and personal relationship.
Its scope is vast –
‘ the metaphor of sitting on a park bench with someone you love, no word spoken, watching a beautiful sunset on a balmy evening’
to
'the intensity of the transfiguration experience of Peter, James and John in Matthew 17'.
We will be looking at some of the topics that we may find we embrace in the secret place in contemplation. The Lord feeding us as we Worship in return.
