She was meant to be quiet.

Meant to be small.

Meant to be erased before she ever arrived.

They gave her a script — polite, obedient, grateful to be invited.


They said: Don’t ask too much. Don’t want too much. Don’t feel too much.


Be pretty. Be palatable. Be quiet.



But she outgrew the script.


It caught fire in her throat.



She rose — not in rebellion, but in remembrance.


Of every woman before her who swallowed the scream, folded the rage, bore the weight.



She is louder now.


Wilder.


Free.


She is not their version of woman. She is her own.
