He is the tree.
The steady trunk I never had.
The roots that held fast when everything around me threatened to fall.
Through sickness, through chaos, through the ache of becoming—
he stood.
Not loud. Not showy.
Just unwavering.
While the world taught me to distrust love,
he redefined it—quietly, patiently.
He didn’t just hold me up.
He held space.
This isn’t about grand gestures or public declarations.
This is about the kind of man who teaches safety by living it.
Who shows love in the mundane.
Who waters the ground so you can grow.
Because of him, I didn’t just survive—
I bloomed.
He is why I can be Veil & Feather.
Soft, but never small.
Fierce, but never alone.
He is why I rise with both grace and power.
And when I speak now—
when I tell my truth and reclaim my voice—
I do so rooted in the strength of a man who stood behind me,
not to silence me,
but to remind me:
my voice was always sacred.
This is for the ones who hold the light.
The ones who anchor our storms.
The ones who love without needing to be seen.
Not every story of healing begins alone.
Mine began with him.
